Rev. Wayne Larson - Senior Pastor
1998 - Present
Wayne came to Trinity after seven and a half years as Area Minister for our denomination, the Baptist Union of Western Canada in the Heartland region (Saskatchewan and Manitoba). Prior to that he served as Senior Pastor at First Baptist, Lethbridge (nine years) and First Baptist, Ponoka (seven years). He began full-time ministry in 1975, after graduating from Bethel Theological Seminary St. Paul, MN, where he also served as a Youth Pastor during his studies. Wayne is married to Karen, and has two adult daughters and one grandson.
As Senior Pastor, Wayne provides overall leadership for the church in conjunction with the church council and the other pastoral staff. Main responsibilities include preaching, administration, and oversight of the pastoral care needs of the congregation. He enjoys leading/facilitating small groups, particularly for new believers or those still exploring the Christian life.

Rev. Michael Engbers - Associate Pastor
2002 - Present
Michael has been a part of Trinity since 1992. Over the years he has served in a variety of roles as a volunteer including youth leader, deacon, and serving on church council. During his studies he served in a variety of staff roles including summer kids programming coordinator and caretaking. Mike has been married to Christina since 1999 and has three daughters.
Michael was called to join the church pastoral team in 2002 as an Associate Pastor. His primary role is that of children's ministry. His role is to give overall direction and guidance to all areas of children's ministry. Some of his time is also invested into developing different methods of communication within the church.
Mike particularly enjoys teaching scripture in creative ways and is challenged by finding new and relevant ways to interact with the community around the church.
