TrinityKids - What We Do
Sunday Mornings
Each Sunday we have programs and ministries that focus on helping equip and guide children in faith. We have programs for children ranging from our Infant Room for newborns to 17 month olds up to grade 6. Below is an overview of a typical Sunday morning:

We believe faith begins at home. An hour here or there at church can't replace the influence parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles have on children. We hope that each of our programs and ministries help support the work done each and every day in the homes our families live in. Trinity also works to support, encourage, and resource families in a number of ways on their faith journey.
- Resourcing Families - As a church we work to resource families for nurturing faith in the home. Some of the ways we resource families include workshops on topics relevant to families, small groups with other parents, or our church library the ‘Book Patch’. We also hold ‘Take it Home’ events several times a year where we explore a topic relevant to families and our faith, and provide a resource for each family to use in their homes.
- Bridging Generations - Throughout the year we hold a number of events, activities, and services that allow everyone in our congregation to be together. These event range from worship services to intergenerational mission trips.
- Special Events - Trinity holds regular events for families to get together and connect with one another. These events are planned throughout the year. These have included family game nights and swim nights.
- Trinity Baptist Preschool - Trinity runs a faith based preschool program for four year old children in the community. The Preschool, started in 2000, has a strong focus on social development and preparing children for kindergarten. You can learn more about the preschool at www.trinitybaptistpreschool.ca
Throughout the Year
There are occasions throughout the year where we have special activities or focuses for children in the church. Some of these special activities include small group parties for their Sunday school class, a focus on missions, or other activities designed to help them grow in their faith . Here are some of our regular programs we run throughout the year:
- Adventure Day Camps - Our biggest program aside from Sunday mornings is our Adventure Day Camps program. We run community Day Camps at various times throughout the year for children ages 3 to grade 6. Each day camp is filled with great activities and chances to build new friendships. Our goal is that through each camp children realize how special, unique and valuable God has made them while having one of the best weeks of the summer. You can learn more about Day Camps by visiting www.adventuredaycamps.ca
- Children’s Christmas Programs - Trinity Kids have done a number of Christmas programs in the past including plays and musicals. These programs give the children opportunity to focus on the Christmas story, but also to use their gifts and skills in ministering to our church and the community around us.
- The Edge - The Edge is a group for grade 5/6 students that meets the third Saturday of every month throughout the school year. The Edge is designed to create a place for each student to build friendships and grow in their faith. Each event costs $5.
