Evangelism
We believe that we are called, as followers of Christ, to go into the world and make disciples. We are called to share our faith with others, that they too can know the love and grace of God. At Trinity, we believe that God places each person in places where they can be God’s light in the world. School, work, family, clubs and groups, and our community are some of the places where we build relationships and are able to communicate our faith and share God’s love with others through our words and our actions. Evangelism happens through the relationships we have, and sharing our lives with those we meet.
Evangelism is lived out in the lives of our congregation each and every day. Over the years we have worked to equip individuals. We have had adult education classes, small groups, and other groups work to be equipped in how to share their faith more effectively with the world around them.
Trinity also has offered various courses for those exploring faith. Whether a ‘New Believer’s class’ or the Alpha course we recognize the value of providing formal and informal opportunities for people to explore faith and ask questions. We are currently re-evaluating our materials and programs we’ve used for these opportunities to explore faith – we look forward to seeing where God leads us in the future in this area.
