Mission Trips
If you are looking for a way to challenge your world view, to put your faith in action, or just to give your time and effort to someone in need, then a short term missions trip might be the answer for you. Perhaps you are not ready to go, but wish to be a part of the action. You could participate in fundraising activities, pray for the teams and the ministries they visit, offer encouragement to team members. If you are interested in going, watch here for opportunities to take a week out of your ordinary life and serve God.
Mexico 2011
A diverse team of 30 travelled to an orphanage in Vicente Guerrero (south of Ensenada on the Baja peninsula) from Nov 5-13 to work on tasks as needed in the orphanage, participate in outreach in local migrant workers’ camps, learn about poverty issues in the country of Mexico and encourage our partners in ministry there.
Please pray for the team as they continue to process their experience in Mexico and to apply the lessons they learned there, as they readjust to life at home.
