We serve a just God, one who desires a shalom world of wholeness and abundance for us (all of us). We desire to see that redeemed world of right relationships with God and with each other. We wrestle with questions of how best to use our resources in a world where the daily wage of billions of people is less than the price of our daily latte. We are encouraged by the wisdom of Mother Theresa who said, “The needs are great, and none of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”
Some issues we are concerned about: hunger, housing and homelessness, human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, and healthy water .
Some of the organizations that help us to work towards solutions:
