COMMUNITY CARE OFFERING
Cornerstone Counselling We would like to thank our Friends at Trinity Baptist Church for taking up an offering for our work next week. Cornerstone is a faith based, not-for-profit agency with a mission to provide affordable counselling services to all. Last year, we provided over $200,000 in fee subsidies to ensure people received the counselling services they needed. Although our clients are diverse, some of the things we do are help parents heal their marriages so families stay together; affirm to abused and discarded people that they are a treasured child of God; and assure grieving children that they are not alone. For more information on Cornerstone, go to our website www.cornerstonecounselling.com

The Elephants In The Room Sermon Series
To help us all prepare for our August sermon series, consider the following two options:
Pick up a few hand bills from the info desk and hand them out to neighbors or friends.
Consider sharing your thoughts on the upcoming sermon topics on camera in the foyer after the service. Your thoughts might make there way into our sermon into video.
The Elephants In The Room sermon series in August is based on your suggestions for contemporary topics that you wanted to see addressed. In this series we will endeavor to demonstrate how we can responsibly apply biblical truth to contemporary issues.

Adventure Day Camps
Our first week of day camps went great!  50 kids and 12 leaders
enjoyed our new skill tracks of art, building, science, cupcake
decorating, and sports.  Our afternoons were filled with bubble balls, a new waterslide, archery, bouncy castle and the playground.  The children learned new songs and that 1)God is our guide so we should follow him together; 2) God is creative so I can be creative; 3) God is our provider so we should be grateful; 4) God is awesome so I will worship him; and 5) God is my friend so I will spend time with him.

Thank you to all those who gave their time and talents to help with our skill tracks each day and for all those who helped with sign in/out and other activities.  We couldn’t have done it without YOU!

Trinity Youth
Want to hang out? Kev does. There are two months of summer fun waiting to happen. Come to the church and play some Wii, or go out to 7-11 and get a slurpee. Whatever you want to do, just call Kev at the church and make it happen. Honestly though, with no youth events, Kev will slowly but surely wither away into nothing. What he needs to stay alive is… fun and fellowship. And you are the only way to make that happen this summer. So do us all a favour, and hang out with him. Also, the other staff at Trinity are getting sick of him being around ALL THE TIME, so for their sakes, hang out with Kev. OK?
