Support and Resources for families
Come early next Sunday November 2 from 9:15am-10:15am to hear an RCMP Officer share about Computer Safety for our children. Invite a friend!
November 23rd (9:15am-10:15am) learn how to include your children in household chores (without a ton of grumbling!)
November 30th (9:15am-10:15am) find out more about Mentoring: What it involves, why it’s important, and how we can be mentors and have mentors.
Childcare will be provided as well as muffins & coffee!
Advent Resources: (Advent begins on November 30th)
Starting Nov. 23rd, families can take home “Tidings of Comfort and Joy”, an advent wreath with devotions. They will be given out at the Info desk. Make sure you get one!
Also, another great resource is called “Journey to the Manger“. It is FREE for you to download at http://www.thrivingfamily.ca/advent.
Parent Resources that tie in with Sunday learning
For parents of toddlers or preschoolers, you can follow along with what they’re learning on the Parent Cue app. Sorry, it’s not free. It’s $1.99 but has great drive time, bath time, play time and cuddle time ideas as well as a video that goes along with their Sunday lessons! You should check it out!
