Next week we will take our monthly Community Care offering. That offering will be focused upon the great work of our mission partners at Foundation for His Ministry in Mexico. We are
endeavoring to raise $1500 for their work. If we exceed $1500,
any excess will be redirected into our Community Care Fund to assist other needy individuals or mission partners.

Missions Sunday – Chili Luncheon
Today will be an atypical service and will go a little longer than usual. If you get hungry, don’t worry, we plan on feeding you some amazing chili and buns immediately following the service and be sure to stick around for our cheesecake dessert! While you are there, you are free to continue browsing the booths that are there and learn more about the different aid agencies that are out there.

A Word From our Christmas Musical Director…

I am looking for people,
somewhere under the steeple,

Skills must be of creativity,
for my play of nativity.

Drawing and cutting is what is required,
some people to help me cause I am so tired.

Items to make, props for the choir,
if you can do this, I will definitely hire…

All of this to say,  if you’re (interested/intrigued/persuaded) today
Then find me and help get this play underway!

Do you live in Clarkdale Meadows & want to take seriously God’s call to love our neighbors as we love ourselves?  Together with another family who live in  our cul-de-sac,  we are going to meet once a month to pray for our neighborhood and we want to invite others.  The first meeting is Friday 7 November and then the first Friday of each month.  The  format would be:
Meet at 7.30 to 9 pm.  We share ‘God stories’ of how God’s spirit is working in Clarkdale already as well as concerns we have and then spend time praying together.  Oh, and we have dessert!  Interested?  Contact Witty and Mark Sandle on 780 570 5271.

Have a Sleepover on Halloween!
Because all you youth have already been making all sorts of plans for the 31st (I have no idea why…) we won’t be doing anything for youth. HOWEVER! We want to encourage you guys to include each other in your plans. If you’re going trick or treating, invite a youth buddy to come with you. What we would LOVE is if you guys planned some sleep-overs. There’s nothing better than late night hang outs and late night chats with friends. So start making plans for a sleep over NOW!
