A Play in a Manger

Trinity’s Christmas musical will take place on December 14th during church.  Please feel free to invite friends and relatives to come, especially if you have a child in the play!

There will be one final full dress rehearsal on Saturday December 13th from 9am-12pm for all children in the play, including preschoolers.  Preschoolers only need to come at 10:30am on the Saturday.

For the musical on Sunday, all children in the musical will need to be at church by 9:30am.  They can go directly to the Fellowship Hall for their costumes and to be fitted with mics.  Those without speaking roles are to wear red shirts and jeans.  Preschoolers can arrive at 10:15am and go downstairs.  They will need to wear a white shirt and dark pants or dress.  We will provide the rest of the costumes.

The Edge

Saturday December 13th is also our next Edge meeting at the church from 12pm-2pm.  The Gr. 5 & 6’s will be putting their service skills to work helping to prepare booklets for the Friendship Group in Sherwood Park.  Since it will be right after the musical practise, there will be pizza lunch for all the Edge’ers!

Merry Christmas!

May you fully experience the gift that Jesus is to us.  May your heart be open to accept and receive all that Jesus is, and may you be filled with thankfulness for God’s amazing gift.

December 5th – 7:00 to 9:00PM @ Trinity
So what if it’s winter? We want to go outside anyway… so we will. Bring your own GT Snow racer, Toboggan, crazy carpet, WHATEVER, and we will make some jumps and runs to go down out back. We will also play some games we might play in the summer… except while being totally bundled out in the cold. There’s something funny about people in
full winter gear falling into the snow.
