interpretation of John 9:1-41.
Here is what Ora had to say about her painting:
“I named the painting “Open My Eyes”.  For me the mud
represents the things in our lives that we need to wash away
to see Jesus clearly.

COMMUNITY CARE OFFERING
Next Sunday, April 5th, we will collect the community care
offering. This month’s Community Care Offering is designated to go toward individuals in our church and neighborhood who need benevolent help.  We will specifically earmark $500 of this
offering to help pay for meal supplies that our Pastoral Care Team will need for the important work they do in meal distribution for various people in distress. Just so you know, we distributed approx. $3000 of benevolent help to individuals in the past 12 months!

THANK YOU!
Mark & Sarah Strickler would like to extend a huge thank you to the congregation & LMO for all the meals, prayers and support since Merik’s birth in October.

Prayer Room – Lent 2015
The prayer room has been prepared in such a way so it goes together with the
sermon series during lent, “The Seven Signs in the Gospel of John”.  Seven
reflection and exercise stations on the signs will be scattered throughout the space, with one being added each week.  There are three group sitting areas and an area of solitude to sit before the cross.
We would really encourage you to spend some time and be part of what God is
stirring us to become. Come during the day or in the evening. Come before work…or after. Bring your spouse…or your children, or your grandchildren! Drag your small group along! Get together with a friend or just come on your own and rest in the tranquility of spending time alone with God!

Her painting is Mykaela’s very own hands that she sketched and painted.
Mykaela’s interpretation from the story of ‘Jesus Feeds 5000 in John 6:1-15, is titled “Feed Us Your Spirit”
Indeed, Jesus performed a miracle, but Jesus also desires to feed our hungered souls. It does not matter how insignificant we may feel about ourselves and what we have to offer.  Jesus craves us to come to Him.
