TONY CAMPOLO AT TRINITY!
Next Sunday, Trinity Baptist will host Dr. Tony Campolo who will be coming under the banner of World Vision Canada. He will be bringing a message entitled Love Changes Everything: Living with Passion to Change the World. For decades Tony Campolo has traveled internationally and spoken up for social
justice issues, not least of which is the plight of vulnerable
children. Our congregation will be given the opportunity to sponsor children from Burundi as a response to Tony’s sermon. Burundi seems like a great fit because of our congregation’s
connection with The Long Miles Coffee Project & Good Coffee. Please spread the word about this upcoming event and prepare to consider sponsoring a child. For more information, contact

UPDATE FROM THE REFUGEE GROUP
Please be praying Amil, Rita, and Elias who are scheduled to arrive in Edmonton tomorrow. We would like you to consider being part of a
welcoming group at the airport. This would be minimal contact; we don’t want to overwhelm them, but we would like them to know they are very welcome and loved – maybe with some signs, etc. They have minimal English, and may not be comfortable shaking hands and so on, but they will love our smiles, I’m sure.
All those who pledged baby supplies (clothing, diapers, etc.), please get those to the church or to Iris P in the next couple weeks. She can’t store everything else, so we ask that people hang on to the other items for now until we get the family settled in a home. Baby clothes & diapers should be in the 3-6 months range and up. Also, if people have any gently used boy clothes in size 6months and up, Barb Borkent has offered to take those and get them ready for Elias.
Still have questions? Please see Sarah Whyte or Gerald Clark.
Trinity YOUTH GROUP (Gr.7-12)
The Game of Life; Middle Class Edition
Come one, come all, come and GET A LIFE!!! Well, not a real life, just a game. But even so, this Friday at youth we will be doing our take on the legendary Game of Life in real life! This time around, instead of doing a regular version or a third world edition, we will be doing a middle class edition! You read that right, ever wanted to live out the fantasy of being just financially stable? Well now you can with your average 2 story home, family mini-van, eating real pop and chips with your hard earned money. Sounds like fun right? Well you will just have to come and see for yourselves this Friday!
Boys – Please see Kevin.
Girls – Tuesday, April 26th at Sheila’s.
