Weekly Events & Info, April 30, 2017

Use these sermon-based discussion questions in your
small group, family, or for personal reflection:

  • What stuck out to you about today’s sermon?
  • What did you most agree with? What did you least agree with?
  • Where have you observed the good, bad, and ugly of the ‘container & marinade’ of our money system?
  • Would you consider yourself rich? Why or why not?
  • What does it mean for you to put your hope in God and nowhere else?

Let’s journey together thru an online devotional about money. Go to bible.com, click on plans, then search for ‘How to be Rich’ by Andy Stanley

TRINITY YOUTH GROUP (Gr.7-12)
Bigger or Better
When: Friday, April 28th, 7:00-9:15PM
Where: Meet at Trinity
What: You start with a paper clip, put on your best salesman impression, and hit the clean streets of Sherwood Park looking to make a fortune. The basic premise is this: you bring your paper clip to a house, knock on the door, and ask the people there to trade you  something bigger or better than your paper clip FOR your paper clip. Then you take the newly acquired item, roll to the next house, and continue. THERE’s ONE RULE this time… no mattresses, large old TVs, or other pieces of junk. Bigger is not
necessarily better.
