GUESS WHO IS COMING TO DINNER
Churches that eat together, stay together. Or something like that…
This is a great opportunity for you to connect with other people in our church. In fact, ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?’ is a back-by-popular-demand dinner event where you don’t know who will arrive around your table until they show up on your doorstep! The event happens on
Friday June 3 at 6 PM. You can choose to be a guest who brings a main dish or dessert, or a host who provides buns, drinks and a welcoming
atmosphere!  To sign up, fill out the form found in your worship
Folder and drop it off at the church office by May 30th.

TRINITY YOUTH GROUP (Gr.7-12)
Supper at ‘Dons (McDonalds)
When: Friday, May 26th, 6:30-7:45PM
Where: McDonalds on Baseline (590 Baseline Road), and McDonalds on Wye (950 Ordze Road) Pick whichever McDonalds is more convenient for you!
What: Youth of Trinity Baptist! This is an opportunity, handcrafted for you. Have you ever noticed some of your friends are a little bit afraid of youth because it takes place in a church? This youth event is simple. It’s grabbing a bite at McDonalds with friends. We youth leaders will go ahead of time to grab some tables for you guys. Your job is to invite some friends from school to grab a bite with you at McDonalds with your other friends from youth. Then, once we’re all together, we eat, talk, laugh, and hang out. When we’re all wrapped up, we want you to invite your friends from school to hang out with you and your other youth friends at your place.
As a leader, I’ll be honest. This crazy idea really depends on you having the courage to invite your friends to McDonalds, so I’ll be praying for you guys leading up to the event!
Cost: Whatever it costs for the meal you want to get at McDonalds!

Use these sermon-based discussion questions in your small group, family, or for personal reflection:

  • What stuck out to you about today’s sermon?
  • What did you most agree with? What did you least agree with?
  • Have you ever had to downsize? What was it like for you?
  • Reread Ecclesiastes 5:11-15. What are 2-3 goods are you too prone to want to ‘upgrade’?
  • Talk about the internal and external hurdles to developing godly contentment.
